In what ways does the medium affect the decisions that a reviewer makes about content and length?

Learning Goal: I’m working on a english writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.Throughout this semester, we’ve spent a lot of time practicing rhetorical analysis, considering how context, purpose, and audience impacts the choices we make as writers and communicators. Now, this assignment asks you to consider an additional part of the rhetorical situation: the medium. (To be reminded of what medium is, review Chapter 2 on Rhetorical Situations). For this assignment, you will choose a movie and look for three reviews of that movie. Since the purpose of this assignment is to consider the medium of the movie review, you should try to find reviews published on different mediums. Suggested mediums include a blog, a website, a fan site, a print newspaper or magazine, an online newspaper or magazine, Twitter, etc. After finding three reviews of the same movie in at least two different mediums, describe in at least 200 words how the reviews differ from one medium to the next. In your response, you can consider the following questions. You do not necessarily need to respond to all of these questions; they are only meant to give you some ideas to think about: What, if anything, do the online reviews have that the print versions do not?
